We are the controller of the personal data described below. For any privacy question or request, contact us at the email address above.

2. What data we process and why

Technical data when you visit the site. Like every website, our web server automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of access and the page requested. We use it only to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Blog comments. If you leave a comment on a blog post, we process the name, email address and (optional) website you enter, the comment itself and your IP address. We use this data to publish and moderate comments and to prevent spam. Your email address is never published. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in moderating the site (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). Comments are kept for as long as they remain published, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. If avatars are displayed, a hashed string created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service (Automattic Inc.) to check whether you have a Gravatar image.

Emails and phone calls. If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

We do not use analytics or advertising tools, we do not create profiles, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

3. Third-party services

Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google’s servers (Google Ireland Limited). To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent presentation of the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Maps. The map on our home page is loaded only if you click “Load map”. Google then receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking the button.

Links to other websites. Our site links to external websites, such as X, LinkedIn and the websites of our clients and partners. Those websites are not covered by this policy. Their own privacy policies apply once you visit them.

Google may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Who receives your data

Our website is hosted by a hosting provider within the European Union, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Apart from the third-party services described above, we share personal data only when required by law.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@nodalpoint.com. We will reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, Greece (www.dpa.gr).

6. Security

The site is served exclusively over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.

7. Cookies

For information on cookies, please see our Cookie Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
